My Story
Bath Affections was created from a deeply personal journey with self-care and positive self-talk.
I’ve always been someone who could find the good in difficult situations, but during the Covid pandemic, I felt that part of myself starting to fade. Like so many moms and caregivers, I was constantly giving to everyone else while putting myself last. The quiet moments to recharge barely existed, and when they did, I was often too exhausted to even enjoy them.
In 2021, I was introduced to the idea of positive self-talk through a book about changing the way we speak to ourselves. At first, it felt silly and uncomfortable, but over time I noticed something shifting. I became less critical of myself, more graceful with my mistakes, and more aware of how powerful our inner voice can be. My anxiety lessened, I felt lighter, and I started creating small moments throughout my day to pause, breathe, and reset.
Those “micro moments” of self-care became life changing for me.
Whether it was drinking my coffee in silence, taking a bath at the end of the day, or reading encouraging words during stressful moments, I realized self-care didn’t have to be elaborate to make an impact. Small intentional moments mattered.
That realization became the heart behind Bath Affections.
I create self-care products designed to bring relaxation, encouragement, and positive self-talk into everyday life — especially for overwhelmed moms and caregivers who spend so much time caring for others. From shower steamers with waterproof affirmations to calming bath salts and candles, every product is meant to help create a moment to slow down, breathe, and reconnect with yourself.
My hope is that these products remind you that caring for yourself is not selfish — it’s necessary. Even a few quiet minutes can help you reset, recharge, and return to yourself with more calm, confidence, and compassion.
